At NYMAS, customer care is at the core of everything we do, and we are committed to improving our client experience.
We are excited to announce that work has started to refurbish our warehouse space, which will allow us to store products in a smarter, more efficient way.
How will this benefit our customers?
The benefit of this is that it will allow us to stock a wider range of products which will be available for same day dispatch, reducing product lead times from two days to next day.
The developments will enable us to respond to customer requests quicker thanks to new gravity conveyors, which will automate the handling of even the most bespoke Doc M pack.
We believe that following the investment, our customers will benefit from:
What are the changes?
The work will include repositioning racking beams which means that our warehouse capacity will grow from 900 pallet spaces to over 1,500.
In addition, we have also invested in an improved handling system for all Doc M dispatches with the installation of over 40 metres of gravity conveyors.
How long will it take?
The work is estimated to take around two weeks, with the official opening of our new warehouse on Thursday November 14th.
Our Managing Director, Craig Anderson, said: "We are very excited to be moving forward with this investment after a lot of detailed planning and research. Our customer is at the centre of everything we do as a business and this investment in the warehouse clearly demonstrates the way we continuously strive to find better and faster ways of giving our customer exactly what they want."
NYMAS’ Operations and Supply Chain Director, Debbie Catterick, added: "We have been planning this project for almost 12 months, and I am proud of the entire team and the contributions they have made.
“NYMAS is growing and we require a streamlined and efficient approach to our operation which the new format of the warehouse racking, coupled with the conveyor system, will give us."
