We would like you to get to know the NYMAS team, so we have asked individual team members to answer a number of fun questions.
This week, we have interviewed Harry Maxfield (Operations Coordinator):
1. How long have you worked for NYMAS?
This is the 6th week of working at NYMAS.
2. If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
I would love to be a football commentator or work in football media. I have always wanted to commentate on matches and work in the media, doing match reports and maybe doing a bit of radio afterwards - I am a massive fan of football!
3. Where in the world would you most like to visit?
I have always wanted to go to Italy and experience a bit of culture; from the expensive fashion hub of Milan, to Rome and the colosseum, to Venice and the gondolas.
4. What was your first job?
I worked part-time at Costa.
5. What's your favourite food?
I'd probably say burgers, and the reason being not only the taste but also the fact that I have eaten so many disappointing burgers and very few have reached high marks in my opinion. So when I get a burger I really like I am extremely happy!!
But also other notable mentions include Parmos (living in the north east I have grown up on them), salt and pepper chicken with curry sauce (available at most Chinese restaurants) & belly pork (if I am feeling extremely naughty).
6. If you could have a superpower, what what you choose?
I would probably pick being a jedi!
7. Can you describe yourself in three words?
I would describe myself as easy-going, ambitious and organised.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want to have with you?
I would bring something to sleep in, a fishing net (to catch something to eat!) and a raft to go fishing with. Therefore, I can sleep, eat and live happily.
9. If you could be an animal, what would you be, and why?
I would be a penguin, because to put it simply, they are my favourite animal.
10. What's your biggest ever achievement?
Finishing my degree was probably the biggest achievement. It was incredibly tough to work at full pelt for four years but I thoroughly enjoyed it and now I am reaping the rewards after landing my first role at NYMAS.
Stay tuned for the next meet the team profile!
