Keeping up our supply

Following the Government’s imposition of lockdown conditions on Monday in a bid to halt the spread of coronavirus, we’re pleased to confirm that our supply chain will remain disruption-free for as long as possible.

This is because, prior to the restrictions being imposed, the NYMAS operations and supply chain team had already taken firm, pre-emptive action to reduce any disruption to supply.

These measures included actions such as maintaining a responsible safety stock level to cope with the expected increase in demand.

We also forward ordered our raw materials, components and sub-contracting work, meaning that all manufacturing processes will remain on schedule.

The team have also been liaising with senior logistics professionals across our network to ensure both our road and sea freight routes remain operational as far as possible.

This is in addition to keeping in constant touch with all our suppliers of materials and products to ensure they had robust contingency plans in place, which will allow us all to manage us through this temporary challenge in our global supply chain.

Debbie Catterick, NYMAS’ Operations and Supply Chain Director, said:

Our efforts have paid off and I am delighted to advise that for NYMAS we foresee no disruption in our next-day delivery service. All product lines remain in stock and we have been able to confirm firm delivery dates for what has been unprecedented demand over recent weeks.

Of course the situation changes daily and we will continue to act upon any developments in the advice of our government, however please be assured that we have a strong network, a stronger team and tested contingency in place to minimise any disruption to our service to you.
