The ideal candidate for this role will be a proactive and confident go-getter who is passionate about business and personal growth, has excellent attention to detail, and can inspire colleagues to be their best.   The business development team currently consists of field based business development managers and this new role will be key in facilitating the formation of a new internal sales function to support the ongoing business development activity.

Purpose:
To be the role model in the internal sales team, inspiring colleagues to give exceptional customer service, maximise current accounts, and develop new business as well champion CRM system adoption throughout the internal sales team.  Specific responsibility to engage in proactive tele-sales activity and account management within the strategic account channel of NYMAS, directing field based sales team to maximise the return from their sales activity.  

Performance Objectives:
• Drive growth of existing strategic accounts, through proactive account management
• Direct the marketing and sales effort to new strategic account channel prospects
• Engage in proactive outbound office-based sales activity
• Manage set up and onboarding of new strategic accounts
• Assist internal account executives in upselling opportunities
• Supervise internal sales team when business development director is off site

Example of Responsibilities:
• Oversee the sourcing of leads for strategic account channel
• Qualify potential new business opportunities by research and telesales
• Oversee the pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Tele-sales activity to new business prospects
• Book and prepare for meetings for relevant strategic account field BDM
• Liaise with Product and innovation team regarding potential developments for new accounts
• Oversee forecast and onboarding of new business in sector
• Courtesy account management calls to strategic account contacts
• Deal with complaints and issues raised by strategic accounts
• Book strategic account review meetings
• Drive technology improvement to make department more efficient including CRM etc
