A fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work

As a company with our team at the heart of everything we do, we’re delighted to announce that we have become an accredited Real Living Wage (RLW) employer.

This means we are committed to paying all our staff at least the Real Living Wage, calculated as the amount people need to earn to enjoy a decent quality of life.

It is distinct from the National Minimum Wage for over-21s of £7.70 an hour and the National Living Wage of £8.21 for the over-25s. Both of these are statutory Government requirements, whereas the RLW is entirely voluntary.

The RLW is based on the cost of living and is voluntarily paid by nearly 6,000 UK employers who, like us, believe a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay – and we’re proud to be one of them.

NYMAS Managing Director Craig Anderson said: “One of the main reasons we have signed up to the Real Living Wage is because we care about our employees.

“This commitment demonstrates the investment we make in all our staff and our willingness to go the extra mile for them.

“We are all part of the same team and we want everyone to feel that they are an integral part of NYMAS. That’s why it is so important to us to make sure everyone is paid well for their hard work.”
