Case study - Corfe Castle Public Toilets, Dorset
Posted by | 05 November 2019
Corfe Castle is a picturesque village set in the heart of the Purbeck Hills in Dorset. The village takes it’s name from the 11th century castle; an extremely popular tourist attraction maintained by the National Trust.
At the foot of the castle lies a public toilet block frequently used by locals and tourists alike when visiting the iconic attraction. The toilet block consists of male, female and disabled facilities and needed a refurbishment. Purbeck District Council approached Lans Services to help with the washroom design and specification.
Use of the facilities is by the general public and the fixtures used had to be robust and resistant to potential vandalism.
NYMAS representatives worked alongside Lans Services LTD to assist with choosing the correct Doc M pack for the accessible washrooms.
