Behind The Scenes at NYMAS! Meet Our Internal Key Account Manager

It seems more important than ever – for obvious reasons – to help our clients put a face to a name!

That’s why we’re taking a few minutes to find out more about a keystone figure in our sales team: Internal Key Account Manager Abby Allinson.

Abby, who joined NYMAS just over 2 years ago, and whose rapid career success exemplifies our belief in internal promotions, looks after a number of online retailers, Daily Living Aid customers and adaption specialists.

Abby was attracted to NYMAS because “it’s a family-run business, there’s always lots of buzz and everyone is so driven!” She makes sure clients have the right products for their customers, works on quotes for projects and gives expert Doc M / accessible product support.

“I try to show honesty and build a good relationship at all times and like to keep my customers updated as much as possible by keeping in touch,” she explained.

We asked Abby to take us behind the scenes of her busy role…

Seven Questions: Abby Allinson

Abby answered some brief questions to reveal a whistle-stop tour of her work with NYMAS.

1, Tell us about your NYMAS journey so far: 

I have been with NYMAS for just over 2 years now, starting as Business Development Support and moving my way to my current role as Internal Key Account Manager. 

2, Describe your typical day: 

Busy, busy, busy. A lot of emails, calls, orders, meetings. Every day is different. 

•  3, What’s your favourite thing about your role?

I love speaking to different people every day. Also working with an amazing team here at NYMAS. 

4, If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

I would love to be an actress, maybe on Hollyoaks or Eastenders! 

5, What was your first job?

I worked in a beauty salon when I was 16 after leaving school. 

6, Could you describe yourself in three words?

Bubbly, hardworking and supportive. 

7, What's your biggest ever achievement? 

Promotion into my new job as Internal Key Account Manager after only a year of working here.
